You are invited.

We would love for you to get to know Shenley Community Church. No matter your faith, language, or background, you are invited to Shenley Community Church.

One of the easiest ways to visit is by joining us on Sunday morning. Here are some of the details:

When?

Sunday Mornings. Join from 10.15am for cuppas and snacks, for a 10:30am start.

We wrap up by 12noon, but often people stick around for another cuppa and to enjoy time together.

Where?

Shenley Court Hall (200 Green Meadow Rd, Birmingham B29 4ED). Lots of us walk as we’re local, but there is some parking, and if spaces are taken, there’s free road parking surrounding the hall. Please be respectful at all times to the neighbours who live nearby.

What do I bring?

Yourself! Dress in whatever way is usual for you. If you have kids, they are most welcome to join as well. We can’t wait to meet you.

Do I have to already be a Christian?

No! Anyone is welcome, and right from the beginning of Shenley Community Church, there’s always been a mix of people. No one will make any assumptions of you, you’re free to join in as much or as little as you wish.

What is available for children?

Children are as much invited by Jesus to follow him as anyone else. For that reason, it’s a value of ours to try and involve our children actively when we gather. We get the kids involved in reading the story, acting, contributing their own prayers or insights, and we love the life they bring. Even if they’re noisy, they belong!

Often we have dedicated children’s groups for around 35 minutes of the morning, one group for 3s-6s, and one group for 7s-11s. Kids under 3 can stay in the larger session, or join the younger kids group if a grown-up stays with them.
